Both video slideshows and vlogs can be made available to a wide audience via the web and can therefore become powerful motivational tools. In addition, slideshows can be created in little time with minimal equipment (camera phones and a computer), so they are particularly suited to teachers with limited access to IT resources. Vlogs...

Focus on the process: plan, shoot, copy the pictures to a computer, edit the slideshow, export it, and upload it to YouTube, Revver, Jumpcut, Flickr, Bubbleshare, Google, etc.. You can use still photos, videos, audio, text/titles, or a combination of several of these.
Your video slideshow should be simple and short and share something about the place where you are.
3. Once you’ve upload your video slideshow to the web, post either your video or the link to your video to your wiki page and invite the group to watch it. Be sure to write to the group as you work--what problems do you encounter? what kind of help would your students need at any point?
